Shawnigan Cedar Eclipse is pressed from an approximately 80-year-old cedar from Shawnigan Lake. The black ground gives the impression a quiet depth, while the pale rings and small gold accents catch the light like marks emerging from shadow. This 22 x 28 inch piece is sold unframed, with shipping included, and framing available for local pickup. Every piece is pressed entirely by hand, so the grain, ink and gold tones may vary slightly with the pressure of each impression. These natural variations make every edition singular and impossible to repeat exactly.
